In the past, we (and may be most others) used a table or seyppuwa or just a cupboard to store stuff like, sugar piti biscut paan kadala or what ever etc etc.

Kooombi ena eka nawaththanna kaley, mesey or cupboard kakul tin ekaka dala tin ekey boomi thel damma. Meysey or cupboard eka wena kohewath gaawenna dunney naa. Problem solved. :)

But now a days when pantry cupboards are used ...

    - no kakul
    - they are fixed to the wall.

    :(

How to prevent ants getting into stuff in pantry cupboards ?.
(note: putting ant poison stuff inside is best avoided as food is involved.)

What do you do ? :P

    Thanks

for hooonas need to make sure the pantry cupboard doors close properly.
If the door closes on to a sil, that would help.
Also make sure there are no gaps where pantry cupboard fits wall.
    (will keep roaches out too).

    But ants are a bother.
    Yep sealed containers help.
But if you shop in bulk, not the easiest thing to do :baffled:
