Watch: 1069 dancing robots break Guiness World Record
WL Intelligent Technology Co. Ltd in China has just broken the Guinness World Records title for the Most robots dancing simultaneously.
Named Dobi, the 1,609 robots and their funky moves were all it took to topple the previous record held by another Chinese company with a total of 1,007 dancing robots.
The robots were lined up and performed a dance routine for the record attempt, but some fell over and therefore weren’t included in the final count.
WL Tech said the team organized the dance off as a way to display the latest technology of their robots, which were programmed through a one group control system.
As well as having the ability to dance, Dobi can talk, do Tai Chi and many other human-like actions.
