Mazda 2 help -- Gear hold button

මචන්ලා මගේ Mazda Demio (Mazda 2) 1.3 Auto gear එකක් තියනව.
ඒකෙ තියනවා "Hold" කියල option එකක්. එකෙන් අපිට ඕන RPM range එකේ engine එක තියාගන්න පුළුවන්. (වැඩිපුර accelerate කලාට RPM වැඩි වෙන්නෙ නැහැ)

මට දැනගන්න ඕන එක හැමවෙලාවෙම use කරන එකේ මොකක්හරි ප්‍රශ්නයක් තියනවද කියල?
ඒකෙන් petrol efficiency එක වැඩි කරගන්න පුලුවන්ද? (මම overtake කරද්දී විතරක් hold එක අයින් කරනව)

What is overdrive, and why would I want it on or off?
Overdrive is a mechanism which allows a vehicle with automatic transmission to cruise at higher speeds with lower RPM’s, thereby decreasing stress on the engine and improving fuel economy.
The easiest way to explain overdrive is to compare it to driving a manual transmission with only low gears, and the inability to use the clutch to disconnect the engine from the drive-train. If your car was always in gear, and always in low gear, the stress on the engine would be considerable. And the fuel economy would be horrible.
Overdrive allows the car to shift into a higher gear as soon as possible as the speed to load ratio allows it. By shifting into a higher gear, the RPM’s are decreased.
So when should I turn overdrive off?
If you are pulling a heavy load, like a boat, you generally want the added torque; this is when you should turn overdrive off
