This is not a loan and full grant ove US$4580 million. MR requested this loan but could not get it due to HR and accountability , transparency issues. Finance and Treasury tried hard to get this loan and projects were proposed by SL govt not US. They accepted out projects which are infrastructure development projects. Are we fools wot reject a grant when we are seeking debt morotarium even from India and China as we cant pay our loans.
I do not understand Prof Gunaruwan 's logitc that MCC is linked to SOFA and ACSA as thery are not . MCCC grants were given to countries that did not have such agreements.

Truth is hard but read the full report before comment. I did and have not voted for any government for more than 15 years and had never got any favours from any party and do not wish to do so in future too. But truth has to be revealed however unpopular that is . I know now there will be many who will brand me as supporter of MS-Ranil , but I did not vote for them and if you voted you may can regret now . Same will happen in this instance when we are cash stipped and economy is at its worse .....
