Naked Body Mosaics

Take a really close look at this imag e of Cathy Freeman. Yes, at first glance you would never think these images are made up of naked male and female bodies. How brilliant! Based on an illustration, artist Andreas Smetana created features such as lips and cheekbones that match individual body shapes.
The process has been compared to a jigsaw with all the separate images joining together to make the whole. They have been lots of trends images have been made from strange things fruit, chocolate, matchsticks and more, but I think this is one of the best examples of when it works really well, and certainly fools the mind
