Messengers 2: The Scarecrow (2009) DVDRip XviD - GFW
The Messengers 2 attempts to tell the story of the Rollins family, headed by John (Reedus), a God fearing man whose corn crop is failing and whose house is facing foreclosure. His loving wife Mary stands staunchly beside him and his kids seem blissfully unaware of the trouble that looms before them…that is, until daddy finds an old scarecrow in the barn. His young son begs him not to put the hideous thing up, but a six-pack toting neighbor named Jude convinces John that the scarecrow will bring him good fortune. Eventually, John gives in and mounts the ugly scarecrow on its grisly crucifix. Sure enough, his cornfield is soon littered with dead crows and his crops are bursting with fat yellow cobs. But the scarecrow seems capable of granting John’s darker wishes as well. The banker threatening foreclosure ends up dead, as does Mary’s still-smitten ex. John himself is soon plunging off the deep end, transforming from an erudite Christian into a drunken, foul-mouthed asshole. His trailer dwelling neighbors – the pudgy, elderly Jude and his hot young slut of a wife Miranda – hold more influence over John than his own family. But Jude and Miranda are not what they appear to be, and neither is the scarecrow.
