2.0 System Requirements
2.1 Supported platforms
Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition
Microsoft Windows Server 2003
2.2 Required cellular phone
Phone must be a GSM device that supports sending SMS.
The device must be installed as a modem over an interface such as: Infrared (IrDA), Serial Cable, Bluetooth, PCCard etc.
Notes:
§ SMS Sender is not available for 64-bit platforms.
§ CDMA and TDMA standards are not supported by this application.
§ Device must support sending SMS via PDU mode. Please refer to your phone’s documentation or to your carrier in order to verify this information.
2.3 Supported types of communication linkage
Infrared or Bluetooth: Be sure infrared ports or Bluetooth adapters are enabled on the computer and telephone.
Bluetooth: For such a connection, a Bluetooth adapter which opens connector to the serial port is required.
Cable connection via serial port: A device driver provided by the telephone’s manufacturer may be required. Please refer to your cellular phone documentation.
