Use less effeort! Who will use Viata Sinhala edition?

Govenment announce that 2009 as " English language and IT Educational year". I can't see a single good reason to translate vista to Sinhala. May be Microsoft assumed they can increase SL OS market with this step. But this could be an another wrong decision MS have made.

Do you guys think that people (like us) will buy Sinhala edition? I don't think so:)

I won’t call it a useless effort. Maybe we won’t use it, but I’m sure there are many out there who can benefit from a Sinhala version. Especially the government sector and people in rural areas who are not very comfortable using English. Perhaps changing Vista alone is not enough, but we have to start somewhere. Therefore I think this is a commendable effort. If they can also release a language pack for MS Office that would be grate  .

And I'm sure many will buy if they distribute the copies at an affordable price.Even now most private sector and government sector offices use genuine copies. So there is a market in SL.
