It looks as that Microsoft has fixed the error in XP SP3 (read this thread)

Thanx..downloaded & read it..

seems like they have added more detailed explanations for the security settings..

and not prompting for CD Key when installing a XP again... doing it later with Genuine Advantage thingy or something...

Will give this a try..

hapoo..this SP3 is a piece of shit....

Tried to install this..and half way through it says 'Access Denied' & refuses to install.. then it starts to uninstall itself & after uninstallation says 'Windows was not properly updated. Windows XP MIGHT NOT WORK PROPERLY!!!'

and yes..as it predicted..my OS got shot to hell... luckily I was able to get the System Restored to a previous 1 day old setting from 'System Restore'....

WTF..


Avoid this shit at all cost..
