I unlocked RPL damage N70 & N72 Using Toranado sims.
But some times Those phones Auto off (playing songs or convertation) .
I think this is not toranado sim problem because I used phone without sim(Offline mode) but that problem also comming.pls help me

Hello there! 1st of all, thanks for your usefull posts and help.

I got the BB5 unlock SW, but not the DKU-5 cable. Will a DKU-2 cable do the trick? If not, where can I buy a DKU-5 cable?

you are welcome

you can connect the phone via usb cable and select the right COM port from the free bb5 unlock software.

first install the drivers for usb cable. and make it ready to sync with pc suite (try dku-2 cable with nokia pc suite)

goto device manager (windows) and see which COM port is assigned for your 6680. you can see this under "ports" option

download the free BB5 unlock from EK and edit the .cgi file with the txt editor, change the COM port to the one you saw on the device manager. and run install.bat
if everything is ok, you will see the unlock soft interface.

follow the instructions from readme.txt

download the BB5 unlocker

I found witch port was being used not under COM Port, but under modems/nokia6680. anyway... I now have this error:

Bad Connection! (Check FBUS, cable, turn off/on phone, restart program.,etc).

Can you please help me figuring out what am I missiing here?

yes thats right. you can see this on "ports" only when you use "usb to serial" converter or nokia phone unlock hardware box like ufs.

but as long as you know which communication port is your phone connected you don't have any problem.

remember, you must assign a port number like COM2 or 1 (not like 48 or 62)

so goto modem/6680 properties by right clicking and change the port number to com2, properties - advance - ports - change it from the list

exit the nokia pc suite before changing ports
