Yeah this can be due to bad contacts in cpu socket and also I was not successful in cleaning properly.![]()
Anyway to differentiate between bad cleaning and bad mobo ?![]()
Any ideas on this please ?
If it may be a problem in the mobo circuitry, well that may be the end of the mobo.

But if it is a connection issue in the cpu socket, may be some more cleaning can be tried when I get the time.
So far didn't notice any damaged pin in the socket. Had a look with a magnifying glass and also checked whether anything noticeable in the way light is reflected off the socket. But me no expert on the matter. Hmmm must find a comp shop guy who is not interested in selling new mobo
What bothers me is that the good mobo also showed same symptoms without cpu in socket. So what I observed does not necessarily mean mobo bad without eliminating cpu socket matter
