මේ පාර ඒ ලෙවල් කරලා රිසල්ට්ස් අවා. හිතේ තිබ්බේ Computer science කරන්න පුළුවන් වෙන්න කියලා නමුත් ආපු එකේ හැටියට මොරටුව IT ත් පුළුවන්.පොඩි කාලේ ඉදන් ඕන උනේ software engineer කෙනෙක් වෙන්න තාම කෝඩින් ගැන දැනුම නම් ඉතාම ප්‍රතමිකයි. මගේ ප්‍රශ්නේ මේකයි මට තේරෙන්නේ නෑ වැඩිපුර හොද කෝස් එක මොකක්ද කියල. කව්රු හරි මේ කෝස් දෙකම ගැන දන්නා කෙනෙක් මෙදෙකේ අන්තර්ගතය මොකක්ද මේ දෙක එකිනෙකින් වෙනස් වෙන්නේ කොහොමද කියල පහදනවද ලොකු උදව්වක්.
ගුරුවරුන්ගෙන් අහල වැඩක් නෑ එයාලා ඉන්නේ ගූ අදින්න හරි මොරටු යන එකයි හොදයි වගේ සංකල්පෙක

මචන් ඕක depend වෙනවා උඹේ හැකියාව මත. මන් දන්නා තරමින් මෝරා IT 4 year degree එකක්. එත් UCSC 4 year දෙන්නේ 40-60 (වෙනස් උනා මේ ලගකදී) අතර පිරිසකට.
UCSC නම් sylabus එක base වෙන්නේ "How it works" rather than "How to code".
මන් නම් කියන්නේ තමන් කැමති path එකක යන්න.

Sri Lankan state universities offer various IT related degrees.

1. Software Engineering - Kelaniya

2. Computer Science - UCSC, Ruhuna, Jaffna (This is 3 year - Will be 4 Year for few students)

3. Computer Science - Kelaniya (4 Years - Direct Intake)

4. Information Technology - Moratuwa (4 Yr)

5. MIT - Kelaniya (4 yr)

6. Information Systems - UCSC (This is 3 year - Will be 4 Year for few students)

7. Computing & Information Systems - Sabaragamuwa (4 yr)

8. Computation & Management - Peradeniya (4 yr)

9. ICT - Rajarata ...

There may be more ...

All these degrees can lead you to become a software engineer.

Its up to you to decide which university to select.

Please see the previous years cut off marks for each of above course to get a rough idea.

Normally, a four year degree is more recognized than a 3 year one.

මචන්...මොරටුව it course එක hardware පැත්තට තමයි වැඩි දන්න විදියට..ඒත් computer science degree වල theory පැත්ත තමා වැඩියෙන්ම තියෙන්නෙ..හොද programmer කෙනෙක් වෙන්න නම් ඒක තමා course එක..උඹට cs degree එකක් කරන්න ucsc ම යන්න ඕනේ නෑ...science faculty තියන uni එකකට ගිහිනුත් cs special එකක් ගහල සෑහෙන තැනකට එන්න පුලුවන්..
