Course Structure:
The course has been carefully designed to allow students to acquire adequate knowledge and enhance their skills in the broad areas of IT. The first year of the programme consists of lectures, practicals, tutorials and other academic activities will be carried over 42 weeks. Entry Requirements:
Candidates applying for the MSc in Information Technology should have: An Honours Degree from the University of Moratuwa with a minimum of one year of appropriate experience as may be approved by the Senate;
OR
A four year degree from a recognised university with a minimum of one year of appropriate experience as may be approved by the Senate;
OR
A three year degree from a recognised university with a minimum of two years of appropriate experience as may be approved by the Senate;
OR
Any recognised category of membership of a recognised professional institute, obtained through an academic route, with a minimum of two years of recognised, appropriate experience obtained after the membership, as may be approved by the Senate.

Application forms and other information can be obtained from our website: www.itfac.mrt.ac.lk/MScIT Duly filled application should be handed over to the office of the Department of Information Technology at University of Moratuwa or sent under registered post with a payingin- slip voucher obtained from any branch of Bank of Ceylon for LKR1500/= (being the application fee for MSc/PG Dip in IT) drawn in favour of the Vice-Chancellor, University of Moratuwa Account No.306836 together with copies of relevant educational and work experience certificates to reach:
