Well, the vehicles can have unique number. That doesnt mean the V.I.I. has to be in the same vehicle all the time. It gives the same amount of security as both vehicles having the same number.

Well the 'Security Reason' you and other claim the V.I.I. has in using identical vehicles with same number plates is to confuse any attacker is his ability to figure out in which car the V.I.I. is traveling. So if there are 2 cars with same number plate, the chances of a hit (or miss ) is 50/50
Now if the same V.I.I. uses 2 cars with different number plates, but frequently changes the car he actually travels in (say his cars have the numbers 1111 and 2222 and he always uses both cars. In the morning he goes in 1111 but in the evening he goes in 2222 ).
Even now the chances of a hit (or miss ) is still 50/50

But still though different nu plates wnt do da trick, bcaz attackers dnt get da target by their own,they hav suppoters who giv informations abt 4m which vehicle dat da minister travell,etc ..so wat happens f they give da nu of da vehicle tht minister s going??????????

Thats ok f they hav identical nu plates..SO even though attacker get da nu,itz very hard 2 decide which one he z going 2 destroy..bcaz 2 vehicles 4m da same nu r there.........

Obviously the VII will have to make the decision when he enters the car and not before that. Either way, his chances are the still the same 50/50.
