    Biaggi cant keep up with SBK either... SBK bikes are over 1000cc while GP bikes are 400cc.... the speeds of SBK is far superior to MotoGP..

    F1 is the ultimate racing championship, although there are 100s of other championships & various events.. Boxing Heavyweight Title is the most respected although K1 is more brutal than Boxing..likewise SBK is the ultimate championship for bikes..

    Correct me if i'm wrong, MotoGP bikes are 800cc four-stroke engines. MotoGP is the world’s premier motorcycling championship, with a season of 18 Grands Prix in 14 countries. These motorcycles they used for MotoGP are purpose-built racing prototypes which are unavailable for purchase by the general public.

    Correction=800cc
    they are not slower than 1000cc,they can do better at coners & straights as well
    most SBKs are still on spring valves while most of the GP bikes on penumatic & desmodromic(Ducati)
    ,thats why FIM decided to move to 800cc from 990cc since 2007:nerd:

    It works both ways... see

    "Some years SBK riders leave the Championship for the MotoGP and some others return to SBK. What will is the difference? Is it harder to race in the MotoGP? James Toseland explains something.

    James believes winning doesn’t make a difference. When you want to reach the top and win a SBK race or a MotoGP race, you must fight hard. The two Championships have different riding styles. The bikes are different and the way to overtake in MotoGP is completely different to SBK. James said: ” It’s not easier to try and beat Valentino Rossi or the bikes in MotoGP or Troy Bayliss in Superbikes. When I was in Superbikes we were all specialists in Superbike racing, so it was just as hard to win those races as these.”

    Not so many riders have won races both at MotoGP and SBK. Troy Bayliss, Alex Barros, Chris Vermeulen and Makoto Tamada have won both in recent years but the list is limited."
