Common opposition candidate Maithripala Sirisena said President Mahinda Rajapaksa was in big trouble 48 hours after the announcement that he had quit the UPFA Government.
"In such a situation we may to have to face many obstacles, but I will engage in a clean and peaceful campaign in the run-up to the presidential election andwill not engage in any character assassination,” Mr. Sirisena told the media during the visit to the Kotte Naga Viharaya this evening.
