Kumaram,Guwahati, says:It is not over. It is just a battel that the Sri Lanka had won, the war is not over. Elam will stay and so the spirit of the Tamil People. Those who are thanking that terrorism is over are people with limited sight with no historical fact in their heads.

Krishna Maringanti,Hyderabad, says:Sir, It's very odd that we talk about the death of Prabhakaran today- when the Lankan government claims the alleged assasignation of the leader of tamil movement. Tamils were treated like rag pics in Srilanka and they were secondary citizens. On the top of it, Lankan government allowd the refuelling of Pakistani war flights during the 193 war with Pakistan. Lanka played a clear role in the assasignation of the then congress defence minister prior to the imposition of Emergency in 1975. We imbeciles, much carried away by the tantrums of local politicians and avaricous central politicians talk incomprehensible crap about a great freedom movement. Yes, Prabhakaran got derailed..he should not have plotted the killing of Rajiv. However, the whole Tamil movement is much more sublime and beyond the leader Prabhakaran. If Lankan goverment does not mend its ways, and continues ill treatment of Tamils, the whole situation is at square 1. Hope people realize this!

Usman Hashmani,Canada, says:In all this Drama which was staged by immature Prabhakaran & his aides without any clear vision of the cost of Liberation & the result of its effect on his own community, who are indeed much suffered from any body else,it is evident that SriLanka Govt.was not able to handle LTTE alone without the help of Indian Forces & specially the keen intrest of Sonia Gandhi( so called revenge of Sanja Ferroze)also there were some informers who helped Sri/India Govt. from Tamil Nad. Well, one thing every body must appreciate that despite of having thousand chances of escape,Prabhakaran prefered to die with his son,his top commanders. The historians will remember him as Brave ,patriotic Gernal. No body knows in future their Organisation takes things in a peacefull Gandhian manner & would achieve Elam?

Shekar,U A E,says:It is totally a smart lie from the Govt.of Srilanka that they have shot him to death, it is very simple that if the situation does not permit, Prabhakaran must have committed suicide instead of fleeing and he is not a petty thief to run infront of army. It is like this - If keechaka killed means killer should be definitely Bheema, isn't it ?

S G Baliga,Monroe, NJ 08831 USA,says:The end of LTTE is only the beginning of a huge task for the Sri Lankan government to make their country a land of peace and prosperity for all Sri Lankans.

J B ,Surat, says:Good News at last! It's victory over terrorism. It establishes the fact that NO matter how small or large a group may be but if it is harming human lives it will not survive for long.

Riju Bhargava,Ajmer, says:Indian Leaders, wake up and learn something from Lanka. When are we getting a courage to annouce something like this - be it for Naxals in AP/Orissa/Assam/ Riotees in Gujrat or Cross Border terrorism from China and Pak. We do have our own culture of embracing everybody but why do forget the policies of Lord Rama, Krishna and Chanakya who were from this very same land and what they did to clear off the land from evils?
