Southern Provincial Council member elect Nishantha Muthhuhettigama is heading for England as he was not given the Chief Minister post for the Southern Province. Muthhuhettigama was also a notable absentee at the swearing in ceremony for the new Chief Minister of the Province held today.
When contacted by Daily Mirror online a short while ago Muthhuhettigama said he was at the airport to depart for England but had to wait for his passport which was left behind at him home in Colombo.
