Muzamil files bribery charges

National Freedom Front (NFF) parliamentarian Mohamad Muzamil filed bribery charges against Presidential candidate General Sarath Fonseka, through his lawyers at the Bribery Commission late last night, an NFF spokesman told Daily Mirror online.
Muzamil had alleged last week that the opposition candidate had offered him money to garner his support at the Presidential Elections. Muzamil also gave a statement to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) this morning.
Meanwhile the opposition is also expected to file bribery charges against Muzamil at the Bribery Commission today.
