They never went for any professional counseling and my friend was the counselor, friend, lover and protection for that girl.</span></span></p><p> </p><p><span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana'">I think even in your situation, you are the one who can provide the support for her help her in getting over this terrible experience. This is more so the case as she is afraid in going for counseling (I believe you are now in Sri Lanka). I know that in Sri Lanka gossiping is wide spread and people are scared of that stigma. </span></span></p><p> </p><p><span style="color: black"><span style="font-family: 'Verdana'">I believe you love her very much and this is the main nucleolus that will help her. Through that heartfelt love, what you can do is to make her comfortable saying that you understand very well what happened to her (which is not her fault). Tell her that you will never see her as a bad person and in your eyes she is a pure, innocent girl. As you keep on supporting her in this way continuously, that will surely make her light and comfortable and as time goes by she will come out of this terrible feeling.
