Everything is perfect if he add ATI 4870x2 VGA without GF.

Then all DAAMIT system

single card performance crown is back with Nvidia.. and priced aggressively almost as the same as the x2.. the 295 is better in bang for the buck department too

When u r playing with 8X AA, 4870X beats 295 in all games without FarCry 2 (LiL bit slow in FarCry 2)

Thanks for your suggestions guys, altho some are moot points now.

The toughest choice to make was between the GTX 295 and the ASUS triple fan 4870X2. but since the 295 had better FPS counts in the majority of games I went for it.

Yeah I might get another Viper kit sumtime later. Have to get a big UPS and a coupla thermally controlled case-fans. Anybody know if they have 'em at Unity plaza?

The PSU makes a fuse on my house fuseboard turn off when I plug it in. The workaround is to turn off the fridge, turn on the comp and then the fridge.

I had the same prob.Then I changed the MCB into a 15A one.Then again it started to drop with the large moni n other stuff.Workaround was turn off the moni,power on,wait till the VGA kicks off then on the moni.But mine was a CRT.
