Is thr anyway to update symbian OS 9.1 to 9.2 ? coz am usn n73 n wanna update it...n can it b changed to mobile OS version ??? if it z how much must i pay for those stuffs...

visit the nearest professional local mobile repair center to do a software upgrade (reflash). this will cost you around Rs.2000 (i guess). you will lose all your data (contacts, sms, application settings+applications and evrything, so better to do a full backup before updating. flashing can even change the language and region settings (language packs with different languages for different languages to install on the phone).

you need proper tools (hardware/software) to reinstall correct firmware on the phone. you should not do this at home or online. or your valuable mobile will go dead.

I dont think we can update symbian 9.1 to 9.2

you can update software using internet and nokia gives it for free. But not sure you can update 9.1->9.2. But i have done it before when my phone got screwed i reinstalled OS for free without paying a cent

You cant update from Symbian 9.1 to 9.2.....The Symbian OS must be designed to the phones hardware.....Its not like installing XP over 2000......9.1 and 9.2 has hardware changers....
So N73 cannot be updated to a symbian 9.2 OS

why should we go to phone shop?i simply flash my phone at home with setool2lite;don't know about nokia stuff,proberbly it may need a box to unlock?

os 9.3 means s60 3rd feature pack 2

i advice people not to mess around with phone OS as it is extremely dangerous, unless you are 100% sure about what you are doing . so use it as it is till you get a good reason to reinstall firmware.

no online method would safely reinstall your nokia firmware. you need proper nokia service tools like JAF, MT-BOX, UFS, BB5-box and other paid tools.

so don't try to take the monkey out of your innocent mobile phone consult the experts when necessary.
