    UPDATE:

Namal’s Nil Balakaya and the NFF surround the UN Office in Geneva today

The Nil Balakaya and the National Freedom Front (NFF) under the supervision of parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa is to hold a massive protest campaign outside the UN Office in Geneva Switzerland at 12 noon today.

The Sri Lankan High Commission in the UK and the Sri Lankan missions in France, Italy, Norway and Germany have made arrangements to provide transport for Sri Lankans living in these countries to participate in the protest in Geneva.

NFF National Organizer and Chairman of the National Housing Development Authority, Jayantha Samaraweera told us that several members from the JVP, UNP and LTTE

sympathizers were planning on disrupting the protest organized by the Joint Forum of Sri Lankan Expatriates for the Protection of Lanka’s Sovereignty.

He said that regardless of the obstacles, the Sri Lankan expatriate community would come forward for the country and that the UN Office in Geneva has already been informed of the protest.
