This is not a problem. This is by design. When you don't require the full power, it slows down. If you need it, it automatically restores the speed. Forget it. It is just to lower the power consumption.mshassy said:hey guys,

If you really want, you can set 100% CPU performance in power option of Vista. Then it will not lower the clocks. But just leave it as it is.
