The M2 and M3 lineup dont offer that much of a improvement over the M1, so pick a MacBook with higher RAM and SSD instead of going for M2 or M3. Unless you need 3 or more displays, or AV1 decoding at hardware level, the performance gap between M1 and M3 are fairly minimal in real world situations.<hr />Realistically, none of the MacBooks are "durable" like the ThinkPads or the MacBook with swappable SSDs.
