If the power adapter is the culprit then you can test it with a multimeter. In the meantime try this as well : disconnect the power adapter and take out the battery, then leave it for few minutes. Afterwards, reconnect the adapter OR put the battery in and reconnect the adapter, then try to turn it on.</blockquote>
