Need a Project Supervisor - BIT (UCSC)

Guys , I am a final year student of BIT UCSC (Self study). I am more into Android Native developement. Recently I developed an SFA system for a reputed company. So I thought of using the same project for the BIT final year project. (With some changes to align with the unversity guidelines. )

I contacted few guys doing project supervising, But they refuses to supervise my project and ask to start doing a web app (They said university proritise web apps over mobile apps).

So Let me know if any of you can supervise me or give me a contact who can do this. Actually I need someone who understand my app and sign my project docs.

My Project Spec

Mobile App - Android Java Migrating to Kotilin
Backend - Migrating to Sprint Boot (Client is using Firebase as backend. Univerisity asks to use MySQL)
Scope - Customer list management , Call Management , Expenses Management , Mileage Management , Reporting ,Tracking etc

Aren't you supposed to find an academic guy from the University?
I don't know how BIT USCS works, that is why I am asking

You are taking a big risk here, If they say web apps, then it has to be a web app

What kind of supervision do you need? Here In EK, plenty of Mobile app developers including me.

In technical aspects? - yes we could look into your app & give some hints to improve it ( only if it requires any improvement )

Or

a guild line to "How to write a thesis" - not so much


What do you mean 'sign my project docs' - Usually this is done by a Ph.D. holder with years of teaching/research experience

As this is a external degree, we need to find the supervisor from outside. They don't appoint . We need to find someone with a software development background (Degree is a plus)

I contacted few supervisors who does it as a job. Thier oppinion is to do the project in web apps and they are ready to give guidance on web apps and they ask me to do it. I think they have sample projects and they give it to students.

I went through a guidance video (2020 guidance) from university , they mentioned that we can do any software platform app without many plugins and nosql dbs such as firebase (without a real reason to use it)

Supervisor is needed to sign some documents and guidance on developement.

I just want to use my existing project to this.

Still the univerisity didn't publish the guidance for project.
