need help on a fun.exe virus

hi guys


do anyone know how to remove Worm.AutoRun.x / Fun.exe virus. it rapidly spreads by removal disks and my antivirus doesnt detect it. and i cant delete it. tried to kill the process but it again appears in no time....

anyone had the same experience?????

fun.exe virus warga godak tiyenwa. (expert dapu link eke tiyenne email virus eka gana) mage pc eke problem eka machang pen ekak dapu gamang fun.exe kiyala folder ekak hadenawa. autorun file ekakuth hadenawa.

any suggestions???

You can use BitDefender also for regsiter cleaning. www.bitdefender.com

i m having AVG but it didnt detected it. so im gona remove it..

in RUN right "msconfig"
press enter

selec boot.ing tab
in that tab u kan see boot options

check /safeboot

aply & restar

when u got boot in safe mood



go to serch & find all fun fills

delet them


again use msconfig to normal boot & u r free

awwww,I love manual virus cleaning.But thats not the way to delete that virus,actually any virus.For that virus
first open task manager and end task isass.exe.NOT the lsass.exe which is a system process.
Open command prompt.(type cmd in the run dialog box)
goto C:\windows\system 32
type these commands.
attrib isass.exe -S -H -R
press enter
del isass.exe
press enter
viola!!U have removed the main virus program.Now its daughters & Autorun.inf in every partition..
Goto X: (where X is C: D: E:..Z
attrib ,.exe -S -H -R
press enter
del ,.exe
press enter
attrib autorun.inf -S -H -R
press enter
del autorun.inf
press enter

Restart the PC.Virus must be removed.
edit:for the virus that creates fun.exe you have to end task the explorer.exe which uses less system memory out of two,then in command prompt goto C:\Documents and settings\all users\local settings\there is a exe named explorer.exe. Delete that as in first step.then continue the 2nd step for all partitions replacing ,.exe with fun.exe.

Also try to use these methods for other viruses by trapping the process.And note this method is only valid for non system file altering viruses.
