yep!! u can do dat using desktop manager.. but, as I know; skype wont work without BlackBerry....

I have have Black berry 9700 bold smartphone and im using mobitel upahara package, please any one can tell me to how i can use internet without black berry data plane, mobitel still not providing blackberry data plane, anyway why should we pay blackberry for internet, Nokia, Sony Ericsson haven't those rules to use internet,

yeah bro i wished mobitel had a blackberry plans, but u could use normal internet, i did it on etisalat, without the blackberry plan, i think the problem with mobite is the EDGE network caz these guys are focusing on a the 3.5G network..

No network type is not the issue. What ever the network (EDEG or 3G) they are not sending blackberry GPRS settings by their servers (Its only for the blackberry mobile) Etisalat & dialog are provide those settings automatically by their servers.......if u really need Mobitel Internet ask them when they are releasing setting for our blackberrysssssssssss...
