I give unlimited bandwidth to utorrent downloads. But when I do this, I can't browse the internet normally. I mean, the speed gets terrible because there isn't much bandwidth left for the browser.
Is there a way to run utorrent in low priority level? That is, when any other program is using the network bandwitch, let it be Firefox or Internet Download Manager or whatever, it slows down giving them the require bandwidth, but still the aggregate of the downloads are using the full bandwidth. I mean, I don't wanna STOP utorrent while I'm browsing the internet. I want it to use the remaining bandwidth only, because Firefox hardly uses the max bandwidth because the servers are slow.
I think this could be done using Net Limiter. But I was wondering if there was a way to do this without installing another third party application. Because you know, if you bring someone else into the middle, the increased overhead will slow things down.
I hope you get what I'm asking for. Can anyone help me on this matter?
