i work with a modem sagem fast usb that i got at a special price from my isp
(yes i know it would have been better to buy an ethernet modemm but the
price...)
os suse 8.2 pro
i have intalled the eagle driver which is better than the sagem driver.
at startup the power led is on
i launch command internet services tartadsl
it tells me unable to synchronize
i unplug the modem and plug it again and then the adsl led gets also on
again stratadslBest Web Hosting and then : Can't find any post-firmware devices...

If i do the followig:

mr@linux:~> su
Password:
linux:/home/jmr # adictrl -i
Can't find any post-firmware devices.
But I've been able to find a pre-firmware one.
You should consider doing an adictrl -f
linux:/home/jmr # adictrl -f
Useless now. Driver do it itself.

I have the log of the installation; as it is rather big i do not join it
but i can do.

If someone can help i would appreciate as i would like to avoid buying
another modem and as i know people got it to work with suse 8.2
