And just because LTTE ended up killing more people makes the 83 killings justifiable? Is that what you are trying to say? And as Sinhalese we were the victims and the innocent race in all this ?? Then are we any better than them?And do you think 1983 was the first incident like this to ever happen in SL? There have been anti Tamil riots in Sri lanka from 1950s (i.e : <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gal_Oya_Riots" target="_blank">1956 Galoya</a>,  <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sri_Lankan_riots_of_1958" target="_blank">1958 islandwide</a>). All because of few extreme irrational people. As the majority we  should be more considerate and responsible for our actions. IMO Sinhala extremists are to blame equally for this war as the LTTE and Tamil extremists. If we are to go forward as one nation then we have to accept responsibility to what had happened (Both Tamil and Sinhala people), but leave our differences  aside and try to work together to build up the country. Not sit and debate over who is to blame.</blockquote>
