දැන් ඉන්නේ Sri Lankan Buddhist Philgrim Rest, New Delhi.
අපිට තනියම බුද්ධ ගයාවට train එකේ ගිහින් එහෙ hotel එකක ඉන්න ගමන් Buddhist Philgrims බලන්න පුලුවන්ද ?
Train online book කරද්දී seat හම්බ වෙනවද ? නැත්තම් tourist ලට seat ගන්න වෙනම විදියක් තියෙනවා වගේ ඇහුන?
එහෙ ලංකාවෙන් කරන නවතින තැන් තියෙනවද ? පන්සල් වල හරි .

Just vist the New Delhi station and enquire about tickets. There are so many sites coming up on a Google search for train tickets but the Indian Railways site is...

I have not taken any trains in India so cannot provide much info to help. Select New Delhi as start and Gaya Jn for Bodhgaya.
It's a more than a 1000km run and will take nearly 12 hrs or so.

I don't get this pop-up... In any case they might be doing this for their own adverts. Railway companies advertise products on their compartments and stations. Why not on their web.

Yes you can get reserved train tickets if you have a tourist visa. In early 2000s, this was done in person at the regional office of Indian Railways in Delhi, but I'm sure everything is online now.

Delhi to Gaya is about 12 hours by train. 16-18 hours by car. You can also hire a car with a driver but its safer and faster by train.

Check the following image for train schedule from Indian Railways website. Sealdah Rajdhani, Howrah Rajdhani and Bubhaneswar Rajdhani are the fastest.

1. I suggest you to Visit Bodhgaya. Monks there in the temple are kind and helpful.

2. You can simply walk from SL Buddhist Pilgrims Rest to New Delhi train station, go to the upper floor, find the dedicated room for tourists, which is easy to find. From there you can reserve a ticket.
Sometimes back I took Rajdhani Express and it was definitely a surprisingly good experience. Reason being every other thing about India was appalling at the time. (Unhygienic, dirty conditions)

3. If possible, help Bodhgaya temple/ monks anyway you can. As I heard, there are seasons which crowd gather , therefore, monks have a hard time sometimes.
