Macho, I just bought a ASUS laptop from Barclays.

1.8Core 2 Duo + 2GB Ram Asus F5RL laptop with 3yr warranty for Rs95800. Don't trust warranty of most of unity plaza shops, they are cheating 2 customers. If there is a problem it will take months to repare.

With 3 year warranty I think better 2 go for Asus. In barclays asus laptops are cheaper than Asus center and warranty is given by metropolitan. So no worries.

Yeah. . . I have the same laptop with 3GB RAM. . . a good buy for the price and a good warranty. But if u want something with more power i suggest u go for the HP Pavilion dv4 or dv5 depending on what size u want. These are a bit more expensive (130,000 Upwards) . . . And get only a warranty of one year. But they come with newer Penryn Core CPUs and dedicated graphics cards (usually GF8400 or GF9200) If you're buying one of these i'd recommend Winsoft Computers at Unity plaza. They have reasonable prices and a reliable warranty. . . Consider what use is the laptop is to u before making da investment. For me my F5RL is more than enough because i dont play much games. And no need to worry because of the 3 year warranty.:D:D
