I think its good coz much cheaper for entry level user Rs 1000/- only. And existing packages still there so no harm done! I think Good move SLT, but 1GB limit is not enough for 1000/- i think atleast 5Gb limit should be there in new package. Anyway this will help to spread broadband in srilanka.

• 512Kbps down load and 128Kbps Up load
• Can offer in any area where present ADSL available
• Connection Fee Rs.500.00
• Monthly Rental Rs.1000.00
• Monthly Usage Allowance 1Gigabyte (1000MB)

DUDE u r on dialup. i feel very sory 4 the guys who use the 2 mbps lines. wots the use of having 2048 kbps if u can only downlod 1GB

I think u didn't get it...........its not like that........current users will have no effect with the new one.......they can download as much as they like......This is just a new package.........

But what is the point........you can have unlimited downloading by paying just another 1500

Oh man you are not getting it, 1Gb limit only for that Rs.1000/- new plan. All other plans like Home and Office Express (512 & 2M) get Unlimited transfer as before. Nothing changed. And you still can order that plans too. So nothing to worry!!

for new adsl subscribers they can get a cheaper connection.. which has a limited downloadin of jus 1gb..
