The subject says it all , I'm starting to set up a website using Wordpress + web hosting and currently confused between .com and .lk .
The website is built purely for Sri Lankan network traffic and I see no intentions of expanding it in a global scale.
I am leaning towards the .com domain as i am entitled to a free domain name by my hosting company .
Where as I will be paying ~Rs3500 per year for a .lk domain.
Rs3500/year doesn't seem much to me and I have no issues paying it; However I don't see the point of paying for things when I can get them for free,( i hope you catch my drift).
So what do you think guys ?
Would appreciate if you could shed your comments and opinions regarding my inquiry.
