rgdn savings, unlikely. But still it depends on the expenses. i live with my wife and little daughter. After expenses + money sent to SL to parents, I save next to nothing. (at the moment i'm not trying to save.. so I spend ) If your partner works, you can save. Most of ppl here buy properties/houses under 30 yrs mortgages. Thats ok if you plan to settle here.

IT opportunities are there in Auckland. #1 is software development. Competition is really high, but there are vacancies. Recently our company also hired few React front end developers. BI jobs also available.

But life is really cool, if you have a job here. Not the ideal place to save money, but life is good.

I came here 10 months back. Got 160 points without a job offer. Found a job in two months..

As you are aware, RDA Orana has been inundated with applications and enquiries since the middle of June 2018 for a number of Occupations.

We are in the unenviable position that we will not be able to submit the large number of applications we have received for Nomination, even allowing for an extended time period.

As a result, RDA Orana has made the decision to refund the application fees for all Civil Engineer - 233111 who applied to RDA Orana after 30 June 2018.

Whilst aiming to be fair to all applicants, RDA Orana realises that the decisions we make will impact each applicant differently. As the backlog of applications clears and we are able to recommence the Nomination process, we will contact you to determine if you would be interested in lodging an Expression of Interest for future 489 nominations.
