Well, once Intel release their graphics drivers, this on board graphics will smoke a 6200 easily. I'm running everything in software mode as only the next drivers are supposed to unlock the hardware Pixel Shader 2 and Hardware T&L. Too bad I have to wait till December for those drivers.

Since the pixel processors of this integrated chip is programmable, even DX10 support (in Hardware) can be given with only a driver update.

Anyway, what is the best time you could set in the first (2 lap) race? My best is 1:38:47 (total time) on Evo. Haven't tries setting records on other tracks yet.

It seems most people are not too happy with this game. They say that the graphics are worse than NFS:MW at the same time eating up more resources. I can't say for sure because,
1. I played MW on a better graphics card + drivers than my current graphics chip + drivers
2. NFSC is still a demo

That I'm unable to give, because it's from my private torrent community. But I believe public sites will also give high speeds (maybe after a few hours) since this is a much anticipated download for most people.

I can't give an answer to that because,
    1. It's injustice to compare a demo of one game with the full version of another
    2. I haven't played NFS:MW demo to compare between the two demos

Since the price is not applicable to us, why wouldn't we install and play this game? :D

However I saw some the screenshots of the game at high details and I should say that I was a lot more amazed by such MW screenshots than these. Maybe we expect more, at least a leap of the same magnitude (graphics wise) from NFSU2 to Mostwanted in Mostwanted to Carbon, and maybe EA have rushed this game too much.

But we'll surely get a verdict in...er...3 more days, won't we?

Why wouldn't people buy it when the graphics is high?

The problem in Carbon is that even with worse graphics than NFSMW, the framerates are very low. In a forum I saw someone say that at the same settings, NFSMW was giving him 80fps and NFSC only giving him 25fps. Remember, this is worse or similar graphic details (not the enabled options wise, but the quality wise).

If this is the case, I guess EA will have to bundle a video card with the DVD
