A calculated scheme has been launched by several NGOs that are active in Sri Lanka against 'Protect Sri Lanka' , an organization established recently to defend Sri Lanka from malicious campaigns carried out by various foreign organizations to attract foreign mediation in order to assist separatist aspirations.
As the first stage of this conspiracy a web site www.protectsrilanka.com has been launched to coincide with www.protectsrilanka.org, the official web site of 'Protect Sri Lanka' web site.
When 'Lankatruth' asked 'Protect Sri Lanka' organization regarding this, a spokesman for 'Protect Sri Lanka' said the web site www.protectsrilanka.com has nothing to do with 'Protect Sri Lanka' and it has been established to mislead, misinform and confuse the international community regarding the point of view of 'Protect Sri Lanka'.
He also said his organization is studying legal action that could be taken against those who maintain the devious web site. Meanwhile, it has been revealed that several big wigs of NGOs are behind this conspiracy.
