The Netherlands government has donated Rs.13 billion for the refurbishment and the construction of two new buildings at the Nuwara-Eliya and Hambantota hospitals.
The new building at the Hambantota hospital will house 850 new hospital beds while the Nuwara-Eliya hospital will receive a new building comprising 800 beds.
