this is what I said @ my first post in this thread...

this is what I want to tell..... U.N.P tries to get some advantages using Janakas corpse

I was never talking about UNP .. and Never I intended to speak either !

I was merely pointing out the blunder of the Government (does that make me a UNP? )

again what makes u tell Im a unp supporter you was against providing a helicopter but u had no reasons only reason u had is waisting money n dead body, is that a comment made by a average person? now who's wearing colored glasses

Dead body is a dead body.

And to transport a body you need atleast a helicopter. Helicopters won't fly without fuel. Fuel costs money.

 Can't you understand the simplest thing?

Well.. personally I had 2 reasons if you read my post properly.
    1.) Wasting money.
    2.) Doing something 'special'.

What's so special about Janaka Perera over Densil Kobbakaduwa, Wijaya Wimalaratne, Parami Kulatunga, Mutalif ? All were great soldiers. All deserves the same respect.

OH... yeah.. who CAN tell it's LTTE ?

Just because a guy blows him self does it mean he's sent from the LTTE?

Ok.. here's a PLOT for you to consider.

May be Mahinda asked KARUNA AMMAN to send one of his carders and KILL Janaka Perera.. ... so amidst people grieving for his loss.... Mahinda would make Karuna a Parliment MP !!!

How's that sound for you ? can be true and viable right?

Remember one thing mate.... Assumptions can have deadly consequences.. SO.. NEVER.. EVER assume things you don't know for a Certain !
there is another suicide bomb blast targeting Minister Maithripala Sirisena....
as you think who did this...?
Mahinda? Karuna? L.T.T.E? oe anyone else?

I don't think that the government was so foolish to reject the request directly.
They knew that if they rejected it would make a big issue against themselves.
I personally think that UNP guys used Major Janka's body to make a story.

But government can't wash their hands. Because they could offer the air lifting before it's requested.

There is a fine line between transporting dead bodies of brave soldiers who died in the battle field from the battle field to Colombo and transporting Janaka Perera's body from Colombo to where he died.

So he wasn't ? is that it? .. you mean to say that he's a chicken shit who maneuvered an arm chair war from his Colombo office when in the Army ?

Amazing and pity that my leg is not so long to stick my boot up your arse for saying that !

However, the bottom line here is NOT about a damn Helicopter eh? (at least for me that is) ... the simple naked truth for me is that this Government is absolutely screwed up.

A man can have different view points... and of cource anyone and everyone has the constitutional right to argue upto any extent on their beliefs. But that never makes you anything LESS of a human. When a person who did such a great service to this country dies... the least thing this damn regime could have done was to shed the political differences and give due respect.

Nope. What I pointed was the difference between transporting a minister who is alive and transporting a dead body. I was referring to their personal security (even though the bugger should be burnt alive).

Who's personal security are you REALLY talking about?

Mervin the drug dealing thug who carries around more than 40 - 50 thugs + cops around him.

And don't get me started with the bullshit our government played about Janaka Perera's security ! .. Absolutely disgusting...

and trust me.. this government SO damn wanted to see this guy dead.. and I have heavy doubts over who really did it as well. (no kidding here) :nerd:

What is wrong is wrong. Allowing Mervin to travel like that is also wrong.

As the excuse, GOSL said there was a threat for Mervin. But for the dead Maj. Gen... I don't think he needs anymore security now. GOSL didn't offer him enough security when he is alive, so why now?

And... how can a helicopter give you respect? :S

    I'll comment on this,
Police said that they were just asked for few officers to handle the vehicles. If they were asked more security they could give it.

Do you really think that government did this?

    next question:

was mr.mervin silva's injured thumb in deadly situation?
and well I personally believe janaka perera was lacking security when he was alive...so it would have been a good move if gov allow for a airlift for his body

however............the prob had aroused cos of tissa aththanayaka and the air force chief it seems now

Why acting like a child Nash? Can't you understand what I'm saying really? or are you pretending?

Did Janaka Perera killed in the battle field?

I wasn't talking about history here... I was talking about the present.

    but instead what they do...........
keep babbling around abt this against government for thr political issues........

Ok.. you want a theory for it ?

May be Mahinda DID kill Janaka.. and when the public is talking "WHY ONLY UNP PEOPLE GET KILLED" also "WHY DIDN'T GIVE JANAKA PERERA THE DUE SECURITY HE REQUESTED?" ... also " WHY DIDN'T THE GOVERNMENT PAY THEIR LAST RESPECT TO THIS GREAT MAN"

Mahinda thought it's the TIME to create a diversion and let people's interest change... So he chose a stupid worth for nothing dumb ass and planted bomb through Karuna's men ! :nerd:

    How's that ?
