ya old bands are better..now rock seems dead while metal lives on lol current so called rock bands like nickelback should not exist

Old bands didnt have much in the way of synthetic sounds so their music was more real and had lot of lyrics. It wasnt all screaming and the guitar works are superb!

Um.. actually I like Nickleback. They have some good songs.

old bands didn't have much in the way of synthetic sounds..if you had heard of nuf old prog rock you would have reconsidered that statement lol

and for nickelback..they are just radio friendly false rock and should be shot in the head

I mean't compared to 80s and 90s. Old bands used the acoustic drums instead of the electric drums, the metal lead guitars were usually the standard electric guitars re tuned by hand. Things like that.

You're talking about Garage bands and Indy bands. By that definition ALL of the greatest rock bands on the planet falls in to the false rock category.

false rock by all mean don't have to be something apart from rock how can something that don't have rock elements in it be called rock what i meant is bands that compose marketable stuff ..and yes good bands can have loads of recognition
