do you know why its happens because the cert of app is expired as it must be signed before 6 months. so try to change the date to a past date like 12/12/2008 or 10/02/2009 or something. it will work...

When installing some themes to your Nokia N85, you'll see the dramatic message "Expired certificate!". This is because security measures within the Series 60 operating system only let you install themes which are less than six months old.

But all is not lost, and that great theme can be yours after all. You just have to move the date on your Nokia N85 back a year, install the theme, then change the date back to normal.

To change the date on your Nokia N85, follow these instructions:

Click on the Menu button, highlight Tools and click the centre selection key (the 'OK' key)
Highlight Settings and click the OK key
Highlight General and click the OK key
Highlight Date and time and click the OK key
Highlight the date and click the OK key
Use the Right navigation key to highlight the year. To change the year back one year, press the Down navigation key once
Press the red End key to return to standby mode.
Now install your new theme. If you still see the Expired certificate error, change the year back another year and try installing again.

When it's installed, follow the instructions again, setting the year back to the present by highlighting the year and pressing the Up navigation key once.

Why i made this Guide?

When i Posted a New N73 Firmware 4.0839.42.2.1.Many people were asking me if its hackable!But now i have decided to post a guide thread here because it worked for me very easily and fast on the new N73 firmware but i think it can even be used in another s60v3 phones..(i have not tested this fast hack on other phones...)

Guide to fast hack New Nokia N73ME v4.0839.42.2.1 and other s60v3 phones without the need of apptrk or rompatcher,rootsign all are not needed!
Its just simple and fast even Newbies can do this Very easy!!!!!!!!


Firstly u need the Binpda Secman v1.10.sis which can be found on the attachments..
Install secmanv1.10.sis in your phone
When the installation is done, look in the Applications folder
on your phone, and find SecMan.
Open it follow instructions and after reboot open it again and click on "Install Root
Certificate"

After that now Select turn platform security off

Start your file browser.(if u dont have a file browser download and install x-plore first!!) You can get it here http://rapidshare.com/files/135126995/X-plorev122_S60v3.rar


If u have x-plore then continue:-
Go to C:
Access c:\sys
copy the files CProfDriver_SISX.ldd and Install server to C:\sys\bin

Thats all fast,easy and simple! Ur now ready to install any sis file which u know there is no expired certificates,no certificate errors again

For other s60v3 phones follow this guide:
