Norway has expressed concern over the safety of the Pfizer vaccine on the elderly - those above 75 years. 29 deaths have been reported. 16 cases have been assessed and 13 still pending.
The Norwegian medical authorities is raising a warning to suggest that Covid-19 vaccines may be too risky for the very old and terminally ill.

    They have also indicated that
"This does not mean that there is a causal link between vaccination and death. We have also, in connection with the reported deaths, conveyed that it is possible that common and known side effects of the vaccines may have been a contributing factor to a serious course or fatal outcome.”

Steinar Madsen, medical director of Norwegian Medicines Agency stated that ,

"We are not alarmed by this. It is quite clear that these vaccines have very little risk, with a small exception for the frailest patients. Doctors must now carefully consider who should be vaccinated. Those who are very frail and at the very end of life can be vaccinated after an individual assessment."
