I'm going back to Sri lanka, now i live in L.A . Thinking about new computer system.I love portability ,so my first choice is notebook.I know Desktops are more powerful than notebooks, but i can't ship it to sri lanka (Custom duty is so high for the full system)
.I can bring notebook like used one.......................;)

I'm going to buy SAGER NP5792/3 or SAGER NP9262 Notebook with GeForce 8800M GTX +Blu-Ray drive.Money is not a question (I have $6000).............

SAGER NP9262 Support Quad Core Processors & SLi ,but it's big (Just like portable desktop). SAGER NP5792/3 don't have quad core support or SLi support, but it's not big like NP9262.Here's the question,

Do you think quad core is good for notebook or just a waste of money?

    Or

can i buy normal notebook from USA & Superb Gaming desktop from Sri lanka (EPSI is my choice)?

    SAGER NP9262 Ultimate Custom Laptop

    Sager NP5792 / NP5793 Custom Laptop

    Hey,

There is no any duties or taxes for the computer stuffs in Sri Lanka.

If you are going back to Sri Lanka. Stop in Singapore and buy anything as you need (originals + cheap)

Here in USA is cheaper than Sri Lanka.

If you need any help send me a eMail or PM

Notebook costs me $ 4600.It's very powerful. My friend have one & we play Crysis @ office (We got lot of free time) BTW Sager is very popular gaming notebook brand in USA & not available in asia due to their hi price :) .I'm buying notebook not only for gaming but also for my business works(Going to start IT company here.)

In sri lanka they don't have good VGAs & PSU for desktops.I call epsi & they said no new shipments until April :( (I going to buy small desktop to make a home network)

I sent few Laptop Computers and few Video iPods. They never charged any.

Where u do computer purchasing? I can introduce some companies give special discounts for the industry professionals. They don't have much retail outlets.
