Macho, now i'v understood y we r using the Term SINHA, but gotta doubt again, Vijay's name is VIJAY SINGHA not Sinha. VIJAY is basically from south india and SINGHA is related to a status of BRAHMIN. I think ur explanation has started contrasting all the teachings and history of srilankans....

No mchn plz read those articles,we are most likely to be east indian mixed people.,but before vijaya's visit there were aboriginal people in Sri Lanka Raksha, Yaksha, Deva, Naga.Vijaya married Kuveni local Yaksha princess.and all his people stared marrying those local people.thereby starting sinhala paramparawa. Mcho those names raksha,yaksha don't refer to some kind of devils or bad people,they were someway names of the tribes of sri lankan abroginal people.Just normal human beings.

ayoo mcho you are getting it all wrong.no country in this world that hasn't been mixed with other races.In sri lanka we got abroginal people called yaksha,naga and so on.It says that we had native people in this country.But we have to accept that we have been heavily mixed by other races till now.It goes from indian, Portuguese,african slaves,landesi,British people.But we have to admit that we had abroginal people here in sri lanka where the orgin of the sinhalese happens.Of course we have to be proud because we have a very long history and The Sinhalese identity is based on language, historical heritage and religion.It's ture that we are not in our orginal state.But we had a orgin that we can be proud of.

Lion represents the king,fearless, leadership and bravery. many countries use lions and animals in their flags. It doesn't mean the nation is like that specific animal. Try to understand the things out of primitive thinking. Please.

Sinhayata dadayam karanna barida kiyala balapan ekek lagata gihilla. Actually lions are more powerful than lioness. But naturally they are lazy. So they tend to not hunt always. But I've seen many times they hunt, 1 lion can do the work of 2 or 3 lioness'.

Lions' main duty is to protect their area and they are doing it quite good. someone enters these areas, death is certain.

You know why lioness' hunts more, because they are smaller and agile than males which makes them easier to run after the pray. But lions doing the great job by protecting their area.

read the "group organization" part to understand more. You know very less about lions' behaviour.
