    np machan..
If its a LAN no prob ne..
But for a VPN little bit bulky...
And if your using MS solutions for the system...
there are so much options for communications..
    like Office Communications Server 2007..
    :) :)

    OK the true scenario is...

3 offices, approximately 5 - 10 kms away from each other.

In each office about 15 - 20 employees.

Have to have a centralised server in the head office.

All are located in Adelaide. So cable or ADSL 2+ is available.

Now tell me what would you do machang

Well it will be much faster and clear!! Of course! I mean in a LAN the speed can be over 1GBPS ne???

    both are same machan..
VoIP means Voice over IP ne..
so in the lan also voice transports..
    using Internet Protocol..
    :)

i mean the services needed by the employees..
calls, emails, net, maybe a ERP, and etc..

Yes but it will be very much faster than a conventional internet connection ne if its properly set up and configured! I mean a LAN!!! :)

    100% Stable :D

At the moment they don't have anything... Only phone calls and daily meetings.

So need to propose an improved way with the MINIMUM cost.

    So ERP is out! :)

    Just tell me some possibilities....

Usually what I do is implementing a VPN or maybe just a WAN with proper subnets.

Then what do you think... SharePoint and IM + VoIP or any other combination? ;)

I think IM and VOIP would be sufficient (assuming that the ppl really dont want to talk face 2 face!!...or else ithin video conferencing thama!)

    VPN is better...
you can manage your network easily ne..
you can use a Office Communications Server for all of that..
but have consider the load machan..
if there is a big load for calls and stuff..
better have a separate VoIP system like CCME..
for the other things you can use a all in one solution..
    like Windows Small Business Server...
it has exchange, share point, and ISA as i can remember...
