In deed a very good news. After the budget, prices of all commodities have gone up. So MPs may have a hard time due to the cost of living.It is ok to increse MPs salaries because they are the one who have a hard time. THANK YOU VERY MUCH

The demand for pay rise comes from the citizens when the cost of living goes up. In the case of these politicians the justification is that their standard of living and their life-styles have completely changed.

These very intelligent politicians deserve a 150% increase in there salaries due to following achievements.a) making weapon dealers richer and richer. b) closing 60schools every year. c) making corruption the biggest business in SL d)bringing in international drug peddlers and prostitution rings to SL e) making SL one of the worst failed states f) losing GSP+ and making 200000+ unemployed. g) creating history and losing Rs 3 billion in 10 months which is a world record. h) Providing opportunities to every family member of a leading politician to own a luxury palace in US. i)making sure 150+ dead bodies of brave soldiers are sent in coffins every month and 500 brave soldiers lose their limbs every month j) make sure politicians kids are safe enjoying their lives in Western countries to provide the leadership to SL in future. Oh definitely these politicians worked really hard to develop our country, if not for them we are not in this state,. They really deserve this.

Yes Thats right.Politicians are the people who struggle the most to pay their bills.so its very important that they get their pay rise rather than the half a million poor people who can't even afford to find a one meal a day.

These devoted, dedicated and sacrificed people are deserved to receive a pay hike at least as a means of meeting portion of their expenditure incurred on account of the national services. On the other hand these poor guys should be compensated one way or another as their additional means of income would be curbed to a great extent with the little money allocated from the national budget on development activities. It is a responsibility of the countrymen and women to make these devoted guys happy at any cost for the sake of the future of the country.
