Birth Day party goes for War Heroes
It has been reported a very rare birth day celebration from Colombo. Hiwin Nimhan Chandrasekara, a 7-years old son, studying at Lyceum International School made a donation worth of Rs.20, 000/- for war heroes to celebrate his 7th birth day .The donation was handed over by Nimhan to the Defense Secretary Mr.Gotabaya Rajapaksa on Wednesday 03rd December at Defense Ministry premises. Father of Nimhan, Mr Priyantha Chandrasekara, addressing a letter to the Secretary of Defense said his son does not want to have a Birth Day party this year and he has expressed his willingness to make a donation for the war heroes who are fighting round the clock in the battle front in order to defend his Mother Lanka.
Nimhan's Father Mr.Priyantha Chandrasekara, Mother Mrs. Gayani Fernando were also present at the occasion.
