Outlook Express එකෙන් කරන්නෙ අපේ email account එකේ තියන ඔක්කොම emails අපේ pc එකට download කරන එකයි. ඊට පස්සෙ අපිට internet connection එක නැතත් emails ටික බලන්න පුලුවන්. reply කරන්නත් පුලුවන්. හැබැයි reply කරනවා නම් internet connection එක නැත්නම් ඒවෙලාවෙම reply එක යන්නෙ නෑ. queue එකක තියනව. අපි අයිත් internet එකට connect කරපු ගමන් ඔක්කොම emails ටික යනව. අනිත් විෂේශ වාසිය තමයි.. අපිට හැම වෙලාවෙම email account එකට log වෙලා ඉන්න ඕනෙ නෑ. email එකක් ආව ගමන් popup alert එකකින් පෙන්නනව.
හැබැයි ඉතින් මේ වැඩේ කරගන්න නම් ඔයාලගෙ email address එක outlook එකට configure කරගන්න වෙනවා.
මේ වැඩේට Outlook Express එකට අමතරව MS Office Outlook පාවිච්චි කරන්නත් පුලුවන්. ඔන්න ඔයාල ගාව 2007/2010 Office package එක තියනව නම් email address එක configure කරන එක පට්ටම සරලයි.
Outlook Express configure කරගන්නෙ මෙහෙමයි..
Windows 7, MS Office Outlook 2007 (Automatic Configurations)
මුලින්ම Office Outlook එක Open කරගන්න. එන ඔක්කොම message box close කරල දාන්න. Configurations හදන්න ආවොත් ඒකත් close කරල දාන්න.
Tools > Account Settings.
MS Office Outlook 2010 සදහා
MS Office Outlook 2007 / 2010
Click on ‘New’
Add your account details like email ID, name, password. Do Not Tick ‘Manually configure server settings or additional server types’ and click Next.
Configure වෙනකම් ඉන්න
Click Finish You just finish setting up your Mail in Microsoft Outlook 2007 / 2010
Windows XP / Outlook Express (Manual Configurations)
Tools > Account Settings.
Click on ‘New’
Select ‘Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP’ and click Next.
Tick ‘Manually configure server settings or additional server types’ and click Next.
Select ‘Internet E-mail’.
Fill in your account details.
POP Gmail servers for Outlook:
- Incoming mail server: pop.gmail.com
- Outgoing mail server: smtp.gmail.com
click the ‘More Settings…’ button. The ‘Internet Email Settings’ windows will pop up. Click on the ‘Advanced’ tab. Change the Incoming server (POP3) to
995. Tick the ‘This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)’. Then, change the ‘Outgoing server (SMTP) to
465 and Select ‘This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)’.
ok කරන්න එපා. Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail යන තුනටම අදාල තව Setting එකක් තියනව.

587 and Select ‘None’ in the drop down list.

Next, go to the ‘Outgoing Server’ tab and tick the ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication’ option. Select ‘Use same settings as my incoming mail server’. Then click ‘OK’.
Click on the ‘Test Account Settings’ button.
You should be seeing the following screen if all the settings are correct:
Once you’re done, click ‘Next’. Congratulations! You just finish setting up your Yahoo! Mail in Outlook!
හරි දැන් ඔක්කොම හරි. දැන් ඉතින් බලන් හිටියට වැඩක් නෑ. emails එන්නෙ නෑ. තව පොඩි වැඩ වගයක් තියනව.
Tools > Options > click the Mail Setup tab > Click Send / Receive button.
Tick 'Schedule and Automatic Send/Receive every <your time> minutes'. Then close.
හරි දැන් Tools > Send/Receive > Send / Receive All Click කරන්න
Congratulations! . emails ටික PC එකට Download වෙන්න පොඩි වෙලාවක් යයි. එතකම් ඉන්න.
